HOW WE STARTED

"MADE IN MINNEAPOLIS"

When a college kid from Minnesota saw the negativity the worldwide pandemic brought, he knew he wanted to make a positive impact in his community. After months & months of brainstorming he had an idea... to make a T-shirt with a positive message to pass out to his friends & family. A few months later he decided to take a leap of faith and venture into a brand new world to create his very own clothing brand BLIND HAVOC. The name BLIND HAVOC means to be "Blind" to all of the negativity, or chaos, leaving us focusing all of the positivity around us.

Jayton started Blind Havoc, October of 2020 in his parents attic with only an iron and a few Walmart T-shirts. Below is the first design he ever made...

BEFORE BLIND HAVOC Jayton, or anyone in his family had zero experience in the clothing industry. To say he had a lot to learn would be an understatement. "I has zero idea how to send out mail, let alone graphic design, how to find manufactures, how market a Buisness, etc, Jayton said." He immediately dove into Youtube where I would watch videos on how to start a clothing brand for 5-7 hours a day. When he wasn't watching videos he was reading articles on successful entrepreneurs from any and ever field.

Jayton credits the positive outlook of BLIND HAVOC to his family, mostly his parents. "Growing up my parents stressed the importance of including everyone, treating others with love, and staying positive no matter what situation life throws at you. These strong roots are the backbone of BLIND HAVOC. “I wanted to use the incredible lessons my parents have taught me and try to spread that message to as many people as possible,” Jayton said.

This brand is run completely by Jay, he does all of the marketing, designing, customer service, content creation, order fulfillment, etc, all while being a full time student at the University of Minnesota. When asked how he handles all of these tasks, he said, “If you truly love what you do, and truly believe in the vision, you’ll be able to push through the days when you’re exhausted or have lost hope after not reaching the goals you have set for yourself. It’s definitely been a learning experience but one he’s loving more and more each day.

Jayton created this brand to spread love and positivity through streetwear, the support is something he never takes for granted. He shows this by adding an individual handwritten thank you note in every order.

IF YOU ARE WEARING OUR SHIRT, YOU BELIEVE IN OUR POSITIVE MESSAGE. YOU SUPPORT BLIND HAVOC & ME, AND FOR THAT I THANK YOU!
